Dibb Family Reunion-Heber Valley Camp

Last weekend the Dibb family had a reunion. The fun all started on Thursday evening when some of us went to the temple. It was great to be there with family. Friday morning some of the family went golfing. That afternoon everyone started heading up to Heber Valley Camp. We didn't go up until after Shaun got off work so we just about missed dinner, but we did get to eat some of what was left of the yummy Hawaiian haystacks.

It was great to be in the mountains with nature. These are just some of the animals we saw.

After dinner some of us played games. While Shaun and I played Pit my niece (whom Spencer adores) entertained Spencer and my wonderful cousins Kelly and Stephanie entertained Ethan and most of the other younger kids. I caught a few glimpses of Ethan and he was having a blast.

I think his favorite part of the whole reunion was this "human train" that he rode. He talked about it a lot and you can tell by the picture that he thoroughly enjoyed himself.

He also liked playing in the dirt.

After games it was time for bed. We slept in a cabin with my sisters and their families. It was cold, but once everyone fell asleep it wasn't too bad.

The next morning I was still cold so I cuddled up with my human furnace who actually felt more like a popsicle then.

While we were cuddling the men of my family were in the kitchen making one of the yummiest breakfasts ever for the whole gang. French toast, hash browns, and bacon that were perfect.

Shortly after breakfast it was time to play on the lake. Shaun, Ethan and I rode on a paddle boat. I got a workout, Shaun got some good shots, and Ethan had fun.

Here Ethan is doing his signature "it's too bright" pose.

He loved splashing in the water.

This is what that water looked like. (GROSS!)

Here one of Ethan's favorite cousins is helping him take his life jacket off.

While we were floating on the lake, Spencer was with Grandma. He took a little nap.

There was plenty of greenery to be seen up in those mountains. I love this picture of Ethan.

After the lake we had another yummy meal. Then it was time for the challenge course. This was fun (even though I watched most of the time). I went on the zip line and, sadly, I have no pictures of that, but Shaun did get video of it. It was a lot of fun, but the climb up to the top was not a walk in the park. I was very nervous and shaking the whole time.

After that it was time to clean up and check out of our cabins. We left the camp and went to a park in Heber City for dinner. More good food and visiting with family.

Shaun made a video of the reunion for everyone, so most of his time was spent behind the camera. This is what everyone else saw every time they looked at him.

The reunion was a lot of fun and it was great to see everyone. Thanks to Donna and Dorothy for planning everything and making it a successful event!

It was SO cold that night. I don't know how I slept at all.
Great pictures!
