In December of 2006, Grandpa and Krista came all the way from Canada and rented a condo in Park City so that we could all celebrate Christmas together. It is always great to see Grandpa since the distance between us makes it hard. We had a lot of fun in Park City doing all sorts of things with family. Some of the "big kids" went skiing and to the movies (of course) while we were there. Some also went tubing. I was newly pregnant and didn't do too much, but I enjoyed spending time with Shaun's family. The kids loved playing together and getting in to all sorts of mischief. We had one night when Ethan was up for hours crying and refusing to go back to sleep. That woke Addison up, too so we had two screaming kids at about 3:00 am. Shaun finally took Ethan for a drive to calm him down, but if I remember correctly, he never went back to sleep. It was REALLY COLD at night in the condo (at least downstairs), but we had hot chocolate every morning to thaw us out. Here are some pictures of our fun.
There were lots of HUGE icicles.
There was fun in the snow...
And not so much fun in the snow.
There were silly hats.
And, of course, there was Grandpa.
There was fun with new toys.
And fun in the tub with cousins.
Thank you Grandpa and Krista (and the rest of the family) for such a great time!

This is what the girls said,"Who put him in the snow like that? That's so mean!" And "I want icicles like that on our house." Isn't spring way better that cool icicles? I think so.
Spring is way better than cool icicles! Let the girls know that he FELL in the snow like that. He was trying to climb down the door step and fell flat on his face.
